HI EVERYONE! I can't believe I even am posting again. It has been what?!? A little over 2 years since my last post? OBVIOUSLY I fell off the bandwagon of blogging! I am a pretty busy lady that is for sure. So this will probably be short and sweet to start off with. Anywho, what have I been up to for the past 2 years? GOING CRAZY! LOL, no really I have been pretty busy. I was mainly going back and forth on the getting healthy bandwagon and off.
I plan to be back for good though. I have been working out consistently since the end of January. Thanks to some friends of mine that invited me to an Introduction to Crossfit class they were going to attend. I was very nervous at first but I LOVE IT! It is the community factor that I need for sure! I love how everyone encourages and cheers each other on. I want to give a big shout out to all the new friends I have made and to each and every coach!
Have I lost much weight since joining Crossfit? Not much - only about 14lbs. to date, BUT all of those pounds have come off in the last couple of weeks when I have been trying to be pretty diligent about what goes in my mouth. I have to tell myself anytime I get a craving for something "bad" that do I really want to just throw away all that hard work, sweat, and tears (yes there have been many shed at Crossfit) away just because I want a candy bar or fast food. Have I been perfect? No, but a lot better and THAT my friends is what matters. I can't wait to see where this journey takes me and I can't thank my friends that made that simple gesture to invite me along with them. It means the world to me!
As things should be slowing down since the end of school is near, you should hear a lot more from me, that is if you would like!
